Macau Property Opportunities Fund (MPO)
Launched in 2006, MPO is a closed-end fund listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. With a special focus on Macau, the world’s largest gaming hub and one of its fastest-growing economies, MPO’s asset portfolio has more than tripled since it was established. The fund also made its first foray into Mainland China’s Western Pearl River Delta starting in 2008, successfully expanding its geographical reach. It now owns a diversified portfolio of properties across the residential, retail and logistics sectors.
Sniper Macau Heritage Properties I
Launched in 2011, Sniper Macau Heritage Properties I is a private, closed-end fund that seeks to capitalise on Macau’s significantly underdeveloped non-gaming entertainment and leisure sector. With a focus on property leasing and asset management, the Fund is evolving from a development fund into an income fund, with the aim of generating attractive yields for its investors.
Sniper Macau Heritage Properties II
Launched in 2011, Sniper Macau Heritage Properties II is a private, closed-end fund adopting a complementary strategy to that of Sniper Macau Heritage Properties I in targeting property opportunities driven by growth in Macau’s non-gaming sectors. Investing primarily in undervalued heritage properties, the Fund repositions and redevelops these niche assets as boutique properties for retail and F&B operators. With a cluster of redeveloped properties, the Fund intends to reinvent a historical neighbourhood to showcase the best of Macau’s heritage while maximising yields for investors.
